Yeah, which strikes me as very odd. As you say, it's not the greatest design but it is still striking and prominent. I like this far better than the Independent. Not that I dislike that one, it's just that it doesn't really demand your attention like this one does. And especially at dusk, when the sunlight hits at an angle, the tower really shines from all vantage points and it is honestly the best looking tower during this time. Well, imo at least.
