Have moved some of the 25th floor wall forms up on the east side. Still working on forming the 25th floor slab on the west side. Exterior window and cladding has restarted with progress on the south side up to 3rd floor now.
Have now got around half the 25th floor walls and posts poured. The 24th and 25th floors have custom forming and a step back for the 25th floor. Taking more time to complete also due to the weather. They are also up to the 8th floor now installing the exterior windows and cladding.
Looks like the last of the concrete forming of walls and posts on the mechanical penthouse is done now. Structural steel has been going on and today it looked like they were lifting a elevator motor assembly into place. Should see the HVAC chiller lifted and installed into place soon and the penthouse exterior sheeting soon afterwards. They are more then halfway now with the exterior windows and balcony door cladding installation.
Drove by this project yesterday and they have installed quite a bit of the cladding now. This has to be one of the best projects I've seen in London in a while. It's very central in the downtown, replaces a parking lot and it looks taller than it really is because it is so slender. Fingers crossed that all three towers are built.
I'm surprised they haven't already started the other 2 buildings. With vacancies so low and the population soaring, you would think they would go ahead.

I'm guessing because of higher interest rates and banks reluctant to lend in this economy.
And the guy building it isn't a Tricar or Old Oak size company. As far as I know, the only other thing he has built is the reservoir hill building. He probably doesn't have the financial capacity to build more than one at a time. Hopefully with 2 complete buildings generating cash flow that the bank will finance him being able to build the other 2 as it would be a huge pain I think to do those one at a time.
I would be surprised if the current working space isn't cleaned up and fresh pavement put down and returned to parking use for a number of years. Ayerswood financed the first 25s tower before the interest rate climb and inflation hit. Phase 2 is supposed to be even taller and more expensive to build and financing it will be a lot tougher. I am going to be very interested to see the leasing rate on this first building. How many units will sit vacant this time next year will be telling.
Looks like they have finally lifted the rooftop HVAC chillers to the mechanical penthouse. Took a while. Should see them finally enclosing the penthouse walls soon.
They are making good progress installing the exterior cladding on the mechanical penthouse enclosing it from the elements. Continuing to install the window and exterior cladding on the south side now.
