Honestly, downtown is in fully recovered mode. Try eating at a restaurant or going for a beer downtown. You're looking at 1-2 hour waits most places unless you made a reso. It's getting actually kind of annoying. Which is why I'm supportive of constantly adding commercial. If you keep bringing people without additional commercial space you get places that are too busy, and commercial rents fly upward so only Starbucks can afford.

I'm excited not only for the additional people, but the additional commercial space as James St and other nearby high quality commercial spaces are pretty much tapped out. There are some vacancies but mostly owned by 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 landlords with decrepit units.
