Since you got me more curious than I have memory cells.

If you look on the page for Tribeca in the 30s you can see they dug everything. They also did both towers at the same time which I forgot about.

CP 1 and 2 were done separate. 3 and 4 went up at the same time.

I just remember CS had a park in place of the 3rd tower. Don't recall if the garage went under it even though I worked there at that time.

We are getting very close to seeing what they are actually building here! So far, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense compared to the vague renders we have.

Drove in the courtyard of the first two phases the other day to pick up something we bought on Facebook Marketplace. It's really not that bad. No looker from a far, but when you get close, walk around, feels like a livable area, decent scale.

With continued development in the Flats, focus will shift away from the relatively bland first two phases and we'll end up with an interesting community with a variety of meh styles, and somehow, that seems ok.

At this point id say they are only building one tower with the underground garage extending under the pathway that will be between the two towers

That's been the prevailing theory here, but it's still odd. I can't remember a Claridge project going up without comprehensive final renders.

I know I sound like a skipping record on 73% of my posts (mostly because of my clinically diagnosed OCD focusing on Charcoal Bricks), but we still really don't have a clue what they are building here. The most recent 'renders' look like something I made on an Amiga graphics computer in 1994.

So we're definitely getting 1 of the 2 towers and the whole pedestrian alley/Plaza in this phase. I Really wish they were building both towers in 1 phase like they did with Moon and Royale.

Personally, I wish Moon was never built, I'd take air over that blight on the already horrible Great Clump. Royale I'm reserving judgement for, but it's starting to look like it will be reasonable from Rideau, and horrible from every other angle. The only renders I have seen of this new one here look like something I put together on an Amiga in 1994.
