One station as part of a suburban light-metro line. Doesn't help anyone who lives in Vanier or the eastern part of Rideau.

Rideau itself might be able to handle a tram, but as soon as it crosses the Cummings Bridge, it would be stuck in the same gridlock as everyone else.

Never knew this view of Ottawa existed! The buildings on the far left are Terrasses de La Chaudière and you get a nice view of the Metropole. Would be cool to see what this view is like once Scott Street rises up!

Edit: Rocketfish can u fix the image?

There is a cool view of Metropole and environs from the big curve on St. Raymond near Pink. It only looks cool at sunset. One time I was there and there was some awesome river fog that obscured everything but the top of Metropole.

Interesting perspective. Will the library block the view of the CBD?

Roderick Lahey Architecture : Building a New Ottawa in blocky shades of Monochromatic Depression Fuel. Can one of our Charcoal Canyons be your next home?

Took me a sec to identify where this was. Rail (and prospect of rail) has really prompted a transformation of the corridor compared to the Transitway.
