Great set of pics. Ottawa might not have too tall a skyline but it looks quite dense in those pictures near the end. Nice to see the Gatineau side as well.

Beautiful shots, particularly like the plastic chairs in the entry way of the gothic church.

Well done, Harley! I miss the Ottawa already, but that might have to do with your generous photos are distorting my memories of the city.

yes, our height is lacking, but it's true that we're dense. Quite a few infill projects happening as of late, mostly ugly parking lots. Keep 'em coming, I say.

thanks everyone.

Gatineau looks pretty nice. I know some pictures were taken of Ottawa; were any taken in Ottawa?

^ yes, most of them were Ottawa. Any pics with just french signage or Quebec flags are in Gatineau. The skyline shots are of Ottawa, taken from Gatineau.

Gatineau was always one of those names I wonder if I pronounce correctly. Just how do you say it? Gattin-no?

I'm kind of shocked. I thought these were pictures of Ottawa honestly - it's quite dense and most of the signs are in English! That's not right! Qu'est-ce qui se passe? Souvenez le loi!
