I wonder if they'll have 24/7 security to protect the glass.

they could just leave the Apple Logo uncovered since it was already uncovered by the strong wind yesterday. I guess it's one of those "No Peeking" moments, but we knew this was going to be a flagship Apple Store.

other than that! Exterior is pretty much done! now we gotta wait for the interior to finish up and the old Apple Store outlet to move there.

The renders definitely undersold this and the haters got it wrong (surprise, surprise).
i mean, it is an Apple Store. anyone should have looked at Apple Stores and realized what kind of product they sell, and what kind of buildings they sell them from. no one should have expected anything different from the company that brought us Apple Park.

zing!

Also, would anyone really care so much [on this forum about a minor addition to a mall] if this wasn't an Apple store?

What's the point of the trees so close to the facade?! Would have been much nicer to be able to view the unique structure without the trees blocking it.

So birds don't crash into the glass was my guess but it also might help with it not turning into a giant greenhouse.

The trees might make it worst, look at that reflective blue sky (I do love that glass), bird flies in for a tree perch only to be chased off by an adversary straight onto the glass, ouch!

I have to admit, with it finally revealed, it doesn't look too shabby. However, good maintenance is key to keep it looking good, especially for the green wall and wooden panels under the roof/awning panel.

Hope they can dress this area up for Christmas, because the City-installed Christmas tree in front of the Art Gallery is usually shabby, and at times with light fuses blown out leaving the tree partially lit.

What???? You were wrong about something, and admit it? Amazing!

You're wrong about the Christmas tree too. It's assembled and sponsored by Amacon, your friendly neighbourhood property developer. It's not City-installed.

I think it's that reflective because of the black curtain..

jollyburger, your right, it should not be a flight risk, didn't realize there was an unveiling curtain for the showroom. Now I'm looking forward to the unveiling.

They're putting up some kind of psychedelic wrap on the glass now.

You can see tables and stuff inside when you walk by but the interior doesn't look finished yet.

Pic by me today.
I'm not sure if the wrap is a Cadillac Fairview hoarding equivalent or an apple addition (if it's translucent so you can see out from inside?)
