Curious. I'll try and find the report so I can see if there's anything about London or other Canadian cities. I remembered Hamilton mostly because it was by far the most dramatic number I saw.

Well, It's not -127%! I might be misinterpreting this statistic actually. Here's a screenshot and link to the paper though: https://www.metrolinx.com/en/regiona...8_revMAY22.pdf

I believe that the expansion of our two primary employment areas will accelerate this. I can see the city wanting all the new businesses (and the adjacent businesses to serve those) to locate their offices downtown rather than by the airport or in the north end.

Working on the 17th floor today, and have a bit more green weather sheathing on the exterior. At this rate we'll likely see this top out sometime in February.

Can't wait to see that shiny trump-esque gold finish go up

Not often I get excited over a design like this but I feel they designed it very sharply and uniquely

LOL - If only I knew how to upload photos!

Doesn't it help with the anticipation though? Haha

I'll try and grab a photo tomorrow or tonight and figure out how to upload it.

Hard to get a good angle, and these are definitely not gold, but they may have a film over them, hard to tell

Mcmaster grad res

Kind of off topic but does anyone know if there will be any common spaces in this residence for students to study in similar to the Peter George building that was recently built?

I'm sure students will use the library and lobby on the ground floor. Unsure if there will be additional space on other floors. The one floor is taller than the rest, so perhaps there will be some addition space there, but according to the site plan nothing special for that floor, so unclear. Here's the ground floor site plan:

Love the build, but fuck the lack of retail in such a critical corridor. Huge mistake.
