The tiny, outdated L-shaped "retail" center (if you even want to call it that) that was demolished to make way for this building was so ugly and I rarely saw cars in their parking lot. So glad this building is here in its place now.

Hah I used to go to a print shop located in that shopping center all the time. But you're right there was pretty much only a few cars ever parked in there at a time.

There is a precedent for 2 and 3-story bars on Rainey. Maybe we can call a trend now.

There are no Design Commission presentations for big projects again for October.

This is the city's development review site. It includes all kinds of actions someone might be taking on a property. For site plans, select the "site plan" option from the dropdown menu under the "permit/case type" menu.

You can search by project name or the street or address and by year.

Local non-profit announces affordable housing development in NE Austin
