Yes there are still a bunch in that section of the Beltline. Kind of a good thing if you ask me because there is still potential to one day block the view of Nuera and Sasso/Vetro. 9th and 10th Ave along the CPR tracks are the worst spots though. That's why that Gallery on 10th proposal I shared in the Canadian City Proposals thread pisses me off so much. They're levelling a pre war retail block for a condo tower pitched to Toronto investors that sits across the street from an ocean of parking.

This sort of thing drives me crazy.

Kelowna's little skyline in the distance.

That's a great shot of the river. Love the Peace Bridge, and it looks like another ped bridge next to the car bridge?

And what are those twin towers. Never seen them before, but they're awesome.

careful, you'll likely get called a 'troll' for that, especially since it's 'east' of BC

Those are the much maligned West Village Towers by Cidex. They look ok from a distance in spite of the spandrelfied crowns.

There's no excuse for the bunker podium though.

Thanks. I was looking at the pics one at a time.

First one - that's nice.
Second one - roof feature looks odd, but still nice.
Third one - Oh God NO!!!

Small but mighty - and growing.

I expect Kelowna to be 500,000 people in 20-25 years time.

Very cool - I had no idea this major Welcome Center was part of the restoration. Glad to hear Center Block will still be open to the public.
Time to start planning a trip to Ottawa for 2030.

No I’m really not trying to trigger another “separate skyline debate" @river

Hi Martin! I can't see your new condo u/c from this angle.

I can see it from here though.

Developments like a 19 storey tower with 150 units just isn't going to cut it if outside investors start coming in droves to Calgary. It will get some of those big parking lot visions moving quickly. Good for development watchers in Calgary. It's unknown if its a net gain for people living in the city.

Sunday morning - a room with a view: an UrbanToronto member has a great skyline vantage point to watch CIBC Square Phase 2 rise in the gap between L-Tower on the left and the CN Tower on the right.

Beautiful image of Montreal, it's amazing how those two towers have really added heft to the skyline from this angle.
