There's a trio of "Pizza Hut towers" in Ottawa's east end, wrong colour roof though. Reminds me of one of those Pizza Huts that was repurposed as credit union or something.

BTW I'd love to see more of your Clockzilla work.

Stucco is pretty rare in Sudbury and northeastern Ontario in general. I remember it being pretty sought-after in the 2000's but I guess it never caught on.

I think credit has to be given to the reno depot, which is a stalwart ally of Clockzilla. It adds to the power of the sheer ugliness.

We need a battle of the provinces: Quebec, specifically Laval (Clockzilla + Reno-Depot: obvious winner) maybe with some of Eddy Savoie's other beasts, against Alberta (The Venetian + Chad Kroeger+ Ezra Levant) against Ontario (Missingsausage City Hall + that really ugly building in Toronto* + that other really ugly building in Kingston).

Indeed. Reno Depot is Clockzilla's Grayskull.

It looks like an attempt at being post-modern, but is a caricature mishmash of heritage and cartoon, especially with the classical columns. I've noticed the over emphasis of window trim is common there, but is not historically accurate, and way out of proportion. Maybe with wood siding it would be more acceptable, I am not sure if it could be worse, but the sloppy asphalt landscaping is the final condemnation. (Maybe a clock in the tower would be an appropriate punchline feature) Edit: oh wait, is it a duplex?

Yeah, there are some small, renovated (in last 10 years) working-class rowhouses downtown with so much window trim there's barely any siding. You'd struggle to remember what colour the house was beyond white trim.

Traditional windows should look like THIS, with just a thin layer on the inside; it looks weird when the window replacements (inserts) reduce the glass area and produce a thick double layer effect.
