Via says 160 kph, which is 99.4 mph (and since NA trains operate in imperial, I suspect the actual speed is in MPH and the metric is an approximation).
So, right now, in a test, the hyper loop goes the same speed. Tell me how it is unrealistic. Do I think Canada will see one? No. But that does not change the viability of it. If some country wants to pay for it, it will get built.
