Calling them a grocery store is a big stretch, they look just like a gas station convivence store.

I visited the food court today and R&D was open, and to my surprise there's an entire restaurant seating area in the rear there. There's a food court facing kiosk to get quick eats, but there's a very typically laid out White Spot behind it - wine racks, booths, hostess, and all.

yeah its a full service restaurant. Seems strange to put it in the food court, will they close when the food court and mall closes or will they have some kind of roped off walkway to access it after hours or a back entrance?

its some pretty fancy food.

BC Cannabis Store wraps have gone up on the windows now and they are hiring and opening soon.

The pop-up space seems to always attract new pop-ups which is nice to see.

Monday to Friday 11am – 11pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am – 11pm

From their Instagram they seemed to have another exterior entrance and there's also a take-out window.

ok, looks nice. A good addition.

Also heard that the hot pot place has installed their signage so it's going ahead.

I stopped at Brentwood today, I think that the SuitSupply space was showing signs of life with some construction going on. No other spaces leased yet. The place was very busy though, the food court was quite packed and London Drugs was very busy.

Earls' proposal at Brentwood

The Earls that'll be on the plaza of The Amazing Brentwood is requesting a permit to serve alcohol until 1:30 am Mondays to Saturday

Once this, La Taqueria, and Tap & Barrel all open up, the plaza is going to be buzzing!

It's a shame that our liberal society is willing to accept illiberal laws such as restrictive liquor licenses.

they are installing pay parking in the parking areas. You can scan a QR code to get a free or hour or two.

Also entirely expected - it's a way to keep the parking for people who are using the service there, and has been done to some extent for many years now. This is just larger (and so more noticeable) than most.

Side note:
British/Canadian spelling: noun = licence; verb = license
US spelling: noun and verb = license

(check sign above and your Driver's Licence).

Side note to the side note - British spelling of both noun and verb = licence. No such word a license in the UK. Canada seems to have adopted the US spelling for the verb, but retained the English spelling for the noun. See the Cambridge English Dictionary for confirmation.

Sorry folks, I'm a language descriptivist not prescriptivist. If you all understood me unambiguously, then the word is fine.

Language changes and we adapt, just like how we say "The Amazing Brentwood" not "Brentwood Town Centre" anymore!

On another note, is anyone else surprised at how closely TAB ended up being to the initial renders? I'm not sure if they'll ever get a Bandana Republish or a Kate Spain but the pictures in the OP of this thread are shockingly close to real life.

True enough, but only for casual conversation such as this where language is primarily for sake of communication. But correct spelling is still required in formal , legal , business or scholastic writings. My 2 cents.
