For the plaza, the intersection features the entrance / exit for the SkyTrain, multiple bus lines and the Rapid bus, and will soon feature adjacent tower populations accessing the mall and transit via the plaza. It will be well-used.

I didn't really put it together that what we're getting is a fully covered transfer (aside from crossing the bike lane) between the EB R4 and the Canada Line. That's a great amenity.

When the NW corner of 41st and Cambie redevelops and we get the underground tunnel connection, the transfer to the WB R4 will be improved too.

The existing building Medical Dental Building consists of two distinct
and independent stratas:
• Levels 1 to 3 – Retail and Medical Dental Office
• Levels 4 to 6 – Terraces Residential
The Terraces strata levels are under separate ownership and are not part
of the CD-1(001) zoning that applies to the Oakridge project. The project
is unable to make any alterations to those floors without permission. All
alterations proposed are to the strata lot owned by the applicant and the
common property such as the building envelope. The building will be
separated by a 4-hour rating from the remainder of the project through
fire separations to provide enhanced protection.
The removal of the existing atrium requires the replacement or
establishment of the building envelope. Existing brick facing the Mall
Entry path will be removed and replaced with metal panel or curtainwall
glazing to ensure the cladding meets current seismic restraint
requirements. The interior facades exposed by the atrium removal will
be weather protected with a new exterior curtain wall envelope around
the lobbies at each level.
The existing Medical Building elevator will be replaced by two new
elevators that can be accessed from the Transit concourse below as well
as the Mall Entry level and provide access to the park above.

The Mississauga project will be bigger when it's completed - but all they're actually launching for now is a pair of towers. The rest follow in five to seven years (or more if we see any sort of recession).

Umm, is the rendering inaccurate or do they actually plan on building another traffic bottleneck by removing two lanes, those being HOV lanes no less? Nothing surprises me anymore and my only question is where does the city plan all the horse-drawn carts go after banning the last car and end of the Great Persecution? This city is ran by socialist luddites.
