At least the rhodos seem to like the cool, wet weather.

Low of 16C this morning.

We are now in catch up mode and Montreal will be warmer than Toronto by the end of the month.
Like clockwork...

May mean so far:

Montreal: 15.5C
Windsor: 14.7C
Toronto: 14.3C

Not that we have a lot competition but Montreal is going to be the warmest place in the country for the month of May.

April mean final (+ over mid month level)
Montreal: 6.3C (+0.9C)
Windsor: 6.9C (+0.6C)
Toronto: 6.7C (+0.5C)

Also warmer than Toronto and Windsor in the second half of April.

15C, very humid and showery in Moncton at 11 AM, going up to 20C this afternoon. Occasional thunderstorms possible.

They had a tornado in New Hampshire last evening. They can keep that shite on the other side of the border thank you very much!

Dark skies have lightened after a brief bout of thunder and lightning and pouring rain. The low pressure system that has kept us damp and cool the last two days is moving out. The rain was great for the garden. Heading for a high of 17 this afternoon. We're beautifully green here in Halifax.

First Thunderstorm ripped through Edmonton last night. The city looks a bit cleaner today. Started planting the annuals last night as well, just before the rains.

Spring moisture here is always welcome! The trees are definitely popping off now.

I hope it melts by next week when I'm there. Will it have stopped raining by the time I get to Vancouver early June?

We're on the 87th of Smarch now which will be followed by Junuary then forest fire smoke season before we settle into the rainy season again around Labour Day.

Actually this weekend isn't supposed to be too bad. High teens and non-rainy days. We had some weird atmospheric effects at times during the past couple of days; there was a glowing thing in the sky and some blue patches were visible at times.

Hopefully by early July things heat up out there: have a couple weeks camping planned on the island. Although I found this southern Ontario heatwave last weekend almost unbearable, I burn easily and am kind of looking forward to overcast moderate weather.

The weather often gets stuck in a pattern for long periods of time and at some point usually flips to summer mode for weeks at a time with sun every day, basically California weather for 2-3 months a year. July is the most reliable, and has a high chance of being sunny. I don't think it means much that it's been rainy lately.

16C and mainly cloudy. Gusty and unpleasant. We are reminded the calendar shows May.

Low of 11C this morning under rainy skies.

The warmspot was Estevan, SK at 25.2C.

Another thing like clockwork, north 42 posting Windsor-Riverside's mean. As far as measurements go, you are comparing apples to oranges. This is a volunteer station which takes measurement a couple of times during the day and hence the reason you will NOT see hourly data. Also why everything is rounded.

If we want to play the downtown game, then Downtown Montreal (actual EC station) is 16.5C so far this month.

Also according to the coordinates... you be the judge.

Windsor Riverside...

Downtown Montreal

I had no problem with it because unlike summer heatwaves, it was generally dry. My A/C was off and windows open at night, except one night towards the end of the heatwave that was more humid.

8C and partly cloudy in Moncton at 8 AM, only getting up to 12C later today.

There is a warming trend for the remainder of the week. EC is predicting a high of 32C on Sunday!!

What are you talking about? Windsor-Riverside is not anywhere near downtown. Apples to oranges

It's overcast, foggy, and rainy. My weather station arrived and I've got most of the setup/calibration done (except barometric pressure) but waiting on a TV antenna mount to set it up on outside - should be here Monday, which is a holiday, so probably Tuesday.
