At least around Main St. it looks like they will access the underground space via Quebec (and I guess the station pit). But who knows.

There's an emergency exit and tunnel vents along Quebec on both sides of Main, maybe it's for these.

Emily Carr station and area. Sun glare in the first one over by the Tim Horton's. Column work progressing but hasn't reached ground level yet. Plexiglass glare in a few others. I would have preferred they used the standard wire mess on the fence viewing ports. Crane installed. Good amount of concrete poured.

You assume that they will build out the system to accommodate the extension without any long-term disruptions at Arbutus (I think that's why they've mentioned the Jericho Lands as the staging ground for the TBMs)

It's absolutely possible, for both stages of Torontos Line 5 and for the Extension of Line 2 the tunnels were entirely built before the station boxes were built. The TBMs and tunnels are in fact an entirely different contract.

Yeah it doesn't seem to matter but I think the Canada Line station boxes or at least partial excavation pits were built prior to the first pass of the TBM.

Link didn't work for me ("server not found").

I watched the Vancouver City Centre station box being excavated over a period of several months. The southbound tunnel had already been bored and the tunnel liner was in place and had to be broken apart. The northbound tunnel wasn't bored until the excavation was complete.

I have photos of this but, alas, this board doesn't allow me to upload them and I don't have a third-party hosting site.

At a minimum, the secondary station entrance should provide an up escalator as well as an elevator as a part of the overall vertical circulation provision. That's the Congee Noodle House site.
I don't think they ever reopened after the sinkhole in the back from the adjacent project.
Unless other adjacent sites are consolidated, that's a pretty small site to expect that level of public amenity contribution.

The Broadway Subway Project Corporation (BSPC) is in your neighbourhood building the Mount Pleasant Station. As part of the
excavation beneath the traffic deck, areas of hard rock are being uncovered and there will be elevated noise. Residents and
businesses in the area can expect intermittent concussive sounds and vibrations emanating from the site during the rock
breaking work between 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
