Most impressive suburban skylines? Hmm, I agree that Metrotown (Burnaby) would probably rate first (Missingsausage City Centre ranks second but the quality of the buildings are highly inconsistent).. I'd still give North York City Centre (followed by Richmond City Centre) the edge for the downtown feel at street level.

I would agree with this, and perhaps in a few years Vaughan City Centre will move way up the ranks.

Richmond has an urban feel, but it is confined to a relatively small area. I guess it centres around no. 3 road and Westminster. NYCC is way ahead if you put it in the suburban category. Richmond is really well put together for a newish tower city. Metrotown has the density but it is very fragmented. Terrible place for walking around. Metrotown has a bit of a crime problem too.

I drove by last week and the new towers are pretty impressive, but sparse. You're right though, five-ten years from now this will be a contender.

I consider this Suburban even though it falls under the cities boundaries. I'm surprised this was forgotten. Also once it's complete it might be in the top 10 skylines.

I don't know how to classify Humber Bay. Is it suburb? I guess it is, but given how much DT Toronto has expaned it deceivingly looks so darned close.

I think the quality of the buildings in Humber Bay is a step above MCC

I consider Humber Bay to the West and basically everything along Yonge between the Lake and North York to be part of the Toronto skyline, just like in my own city of Ottawa-Gatineau I consider TOD highrise clusters like Little Italy, Parkdale, and Westboro to be part of the urban skyline, not a satellite city skyline.

Humber Bay is not a suburb. it's within the city limits and very much a part of Toronto. it has a very nice cluster of towers though.

The round punchouts in the ships housing structure are suppose to be perfectly round, which they are in the original, so the building heights in Metrotown are accurately depicted. Your picture actually stretches things horizontally, as evidenced by the now oval looking punchouts.

So the accurate image would be in between the vertically stretched ovals of the original and the horizontally stretched ovals of the one I quickly flattened.

Niagara Falls was one of Clockzilla's early stomping grounds. There can be only one King of the Uglies! And Niagara has plenty of contenders.

I like that new tallest tower in Metrotown. Also cool gif of the cruise ship docking. Turned on end it would probably dwarf most of the towers in Vancouver.
