Of the 27 metro areas in the US that have more than 250,000 immigrants, only 8 attracted more international immigrants between 2010 and 2020 than they did between 2000 and 2010: Boston, San Jose, Detroit, Seattle, Orlando, Houston, Tampa, and Miami/Fort Lauderdale. Two others, Charlotte and Austin, practically broke even.
