Rare Condo Development in City Park West Launches Sales

Interesting how they've decided to market these units.

Anyone want to do some skyline renderings with the latest 650 17th proposal? Particularly from the mile high cam (hate that view) and other perspectives?

I did see the one before, but now we have a rendering and would be awesome to see from different perspectives

Some information on a couple of new projects:

A new concept plan has been submitted for 1001 Lincoln, which is the old Gart office building:

The prospective developer is listed as Laramar. The architect is KTGY.

BusinessDen posted a rendering of the proposed eight story apartment building at 6th and Bannock by Mill Creek Residential:

219 units are proposed.

It may not be the 81-floor supertall that was proposed years ago, but this is easily the next best thing.

I know that plans change during construction, but if the finished product looks anything like the render, this could be the best-looking skyscraper in the city (or at least up there with 1144 15th or 1999 Broadway).

For those who are interested, the Denver City Council redistricting process appears to now be underway. There are currently 6 Council Sponsored Draft Maps available to view.

This is a name I haven't heard about in some time but I recognized it. Quick check shows they've been around for 30 years with offices in Denver and Chicago.

Oof I can try. It's a bit tricky to take this rendering from this perspective and make it on the skyline. I can easily update the massing on Google Earth though and get some different perspectives though!

I thought I moved out of Candi's district, but one of these maps shows her advancing on me. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

The 81-story tower was proposed by a novice developer who hadn't done anything bigger than townhomes and building rehabs. This tower is being proposed by a deep-pocketed national developer that is bullish on Denver and is very familiar with this market. I'd say the chances of this one happening are pretty strong.

Here's the massing and site design package for Urban Villages' 30-story residential project at 1149 Bannock. Tentatively called HIVE with 234 units:

There are two other projects that Urban Villages is looking at as well: the previously mentioned ~25-30 story residential/hotel tower at 1199 Bannock called ACU and, sandwiched between the two towers, a 12-story office tower called Pollinator

Lotta retail upheaval downtown right now, but it appears that the foot traffic is really starting to return as additional offices open back up.

Okie dokie! It's the blue building except for the City Park / CPW views. Blue because it's a blue building, yellow, so you can see it. Amazing it's going to actually be seen from City Park!

Close enough. The cam regularly used is a little more north toward that micro suites apartment building. I appreciate you doing this to give us an idea of what to expect!
