I dunno, Hub had no issues building 4 towers at the same time (2 residential, 1 rental, 1 office) at a much faster pace.

Was just thinking the same the other day too. Not the most delayed construction start in Downtown Surrey though since the Holland Parkside site originally had a plan way back in 2008.

How about the fact that that parcel was originally supposed to be part of the D'Corize development?! I'm just happy that it's being done, and seemingly done well. It's a massive building and will do wonders for walkability of the area.

it just makes me wonder about all the other approved proposals, are we going to have to wait 10 years to see something start? I'm getting old I might be dead before I get to see anything.

That's always a concern of mine. How much will actually get developed and how much is just so much vapourware? Think about how long the Infinity development was on hold due to the Recession!

Now I don't get my hopes up until the holes are dug and then filled in with buildings.

you are right！ life is short ! no regret and not waiting for stupid Whalley gets fully developed

are people really going to spend $2000/mth renting in Whalley? is that even sustainable?
