I drove by the Camellia Residences over at 10928 132 Street and that is some impressive infill. nice looking building with what seems like maybe a CRU to the right of the Lobby that may house a coffee shop or something. but ya great looking 5 story infil.

Pics like this are always interesting, where you can see single-family home neighbourhoods slowly turning into higher density.

I suspect in 5 years from now this photo will be completely different. There are so many comparisons to be made about the quality of streetscaping or streetlighting or other such things between the new development and the old ones. I think we all know (and generally support) the need for redevelopment to meet housing targets, but it's a very odd and surreal thing to actually see it happen to things other than, say, parking lots and strip malls (Burquitlam/Lougheed are just one example of where it's usually SFHs razed to make room for towers/apartments). It really awakens some bizarre sense of nostalgia and wonder for the future (maybe that's just me).

I've always liked that one. There are a number of projects similar in size happening along that street and in behind to the east.

Has anyone seen "the great one" on 100th ave in the Guildford area? Its progressed a lot in recent weeks. See Pic

Loooks like the at-grade area is a drop-off driveway and the pond and grass are above-grade on a podium.

Interesting article. "Surrey is now the nation's 11th largest city, equal to Quebec City and Hamilton" and "Surrey has a land base that can fit all of Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby within our borders."

While there are comments about new towers and how the lot sizes are larger than CoV, I don't see a lot of developments like this NoF, although there seems to be a ton of newer ones SoF.

I still think there needs to be more cultural and entertainment venues SoF as currently people need to travel to NoF for almost all of that.

nice render.

108th has three projexts next to each other on the go. Q5, across the street is another one whose name I forget, but also a 6 storey and then right next to that to the east is Radley.

Q5 has reached the ground level in the construction phase. The one across the street is still being excavated and the Radley has equipment on site ready to start.

A block or so further east is Viktor which still needs to finish clearing but has fresh new markings on the site, and kitty-corner is another new project that is I think only in the sales coming soon phase. 108th is getting quite busy these days.
