AA has extended mainline ORD service through most of the summer, bringing the airline's total service to 3x daily (2x DFW / 1x ORD).

The US 3 have scheduled almost entirely mainline ops (except for 1x DEN / 1x SLC).

WS is now the only airline left to update the Summer skeds.

Do you think AA ORD could go year round?

AA was year-round on ORD just before COVID. Not sure it will be back to that this winter, but perhaps in the future it could.

Therefore transborder update:

US carriers will have 15 daily (10 on mainline aircraft)
UA 6 (one each of 7M9, 320, 73G, E75 and 2 x 319) IAH/DEN/ORD/SFO
AA 3 (all 738) DFW/ORD
DL 3 (2x 321, 1x E75) MSP/SLC
AS 3 (2x E75, 1x DH4) SEA

and

AC 6 (1x 320, 1x 223, 1x rouge 319, 3 Express CR9) IAH/EWR/LAX/LAS/SFO

Agreed, I see them rolling with at least a 1x E75 on ORD to keep UA/AC honest.

Of note is that the MSP upguage to 321 vs 319 represents 118 additional daily seats, more than negating the 70 seats lost on the absent afternoon SLC Embraer run. With WS effectively replacing DL on 2x SEA, DL is up vs 2019.

^ Delta Summer 2019 was 8 daily total - 3 to MSP 3 to SEA and 2 to SLC

So overall still down.

AC Seems to be launching YYC-YXJ daily year round starting May 1.
Nice to see AC ramping up service. Only PDX seems to be at risk of being cut/not resuming right now.

The Encore flights do very well so I'm not really surprised. Another option to Calgary will be very welcome in that market.

Yep AC is ramping its Summer 2022 schedule with more Domestic flights out YYC & along some to US/ Europe too.

While AC YYC to Mexico nonstops flights operates to end of April and resumes again November for next winter season.

Also it looks like AC YYC- Phoenix PHX US route is operating until end of May & suspended for Summer 2022 season & it resumes again in October for next winter season.
But YYC will still have flights on WestJet to PHX 2x daily this Summer.

WS has increased FCO to 4x weekly from mid-June to early September, operating Wed-Sat.

Guess this shows good advance bookings and confidence they’re gonna get at least one more 787 before June.

Wrong yet again

AC is not ramping up summer 2022 at YYC to Europe or the US.
Europe is the same daily LHR and daily FRA (been the same for years) and only 6 daily to the US of which only 2 are on mainline metal.
Hardly ramping up

Pretty sure he means ramping up compared to now. We all know AC won’t be at 2019 levels.

AC in S22 will be ramped up compared to 2021/2020 when they had almost no international flying.

Pretty sure the most European seats from YYC for AC in recent times was S15 when LHR was daily 333 + 4x 763 (slot shared with YEG), and FRA daily 333. Then both were to be 789 for S16 but ended up a mix of various stuff.

Then summers 2016-2018
LHR 789 and FRA 77L
Just like summer 2022 will be
Summer 2019 both LHR and FRA were 789s
Way back in 2009 and 2010 LHR was 12 weekly and FRA daily
Basically AC’s YYC European schedule over the years has mainly been daily LHR and daily FRA
