No. I read that article. Who is Cindy Widner and how does this person's written word mean anything confirming? How do you know this individual didn't see the same thing and assume like you (and others) did?

All I was saying was that Intracorp widely uses the adjective: Extraordinary to describe their developments. In doing so, it seems (to me) to be quite odd to then name a development after the same descriptive you use in advertising your other developments.

It could very well be called: The Extraordinary. However, to me, the article did not confirm anything (as Intracorp was not quoted as identifying this project by said specific name) and the "ExraordinaryRising" website seems like their initial attempted in garnering interest in the building prior to launching their true marketing campaign in a few months.

This is the dumbest name I have ever heard. I mean build it because Density and housing are necessary but I thought the Austonian would continue to be the dumbest building name in the city for longer than this.

This thing better have an “extraordinary” design and not be another balcony remote.

I Agree. I think this is just a first step in advertising the project. The name has not been announced yet. ( I Hope. ) "Extraordinary Rising" is a way to get people interested in the project. I did not see them say "The Extraordinary" is rising. The two are very different. One states something great is happening, the other states a specific named project is beginning.

My money is on “Extraordinary” is not the name, but rather something the marketing department used as a teaser on the sign.

Unfortunately, This New Downtown Tower Is Not Called “The Extraordinary”

https://austin.towers.net/unfortunat...extraordinary/

All this detail aside, the part of the Real Deal article that got us all stirred up was the supposed name of this latest tower: “Extraordinary,” or perhaps “The Extraordinary.” It’s right there in the article, and the project’s new site (and newly-established sales center at West Third and Guadalupe Streets, the same spot where Intracorp ran its sales center for 44 East) seems to confirm this name as well, at least to a casual observer: dubya dubya dubya dot “Extraordinary Rising” dot com. Unfortunately, that’s not the case — what Intracorp’s saying is they build extraordinary buildings as their motto, and this one will be equally extraordinary or perhaps even more extraordinary than ever. But it’s not called extraordinary. Does that make sense?

Extraordinary is not the name of the downtown project . . . https://extraordinaryrising.com/ is just the coming soon teaser website.
— Brad Stein, President, Intracorp Texas

I changed the name back to the address. It's good to see that this site gets attention even though it's not credited.

Slick wording from advertising gets many folk much of the time.

Kudos to ILUVSAT. He was correct.

Maybe we all need to take a step back in claiming things as being true before confirming it with an official source.

I mean, yeah, about things like insurrections and stolen elections, for sure. But poorly executed marketing? Ripe for ridicule, IMO.
