When they built the 6-lane section (plus exit/merge lanes) between Westview and Lonsdale, was there a long-term plan to do more?? Seems someone wanted to 6-lane the highway, but it just never got done. Not really sure how far a 6-lane highway would be worth constructing, or even make a difference though, but perhaps for the benefit of local traffic?
