Looks like they made a lot of progress this week. Basement wall forming is up for a good chunk of the site.

Ritsman looking like your February or March grade level prediction might be a bit pessimistic. Should be quite a bit sooner than that.

Taken November 20, 2021.

They made significant progress this week. Wall forming has gone up on the east side of the site. This project should reach grade level quite soon at this pace.

The urban fabric really is healing so dramatically with all the parking that’s filling in.

Taken today. Notice the removable floor forms sitting in a pile at the bottom of the image and on the truck to the left. This should be at grade level very soon.

I do like the row of cranes in this picture. Be even better when there is a 5th one.

Floor forms have begun to be installed today. I suspect the ground level floor slab on the east side of the site will be poured sometime next week.

I also noticed that more parts of the second crane have been brought to site. Maybe that will go up next week as well.

Crazy how fast this project has been moving compared to Cobalt Residences.

Its going a bit faster than I was expecting. I'll stick with prediction though that it won't fully be at grade until February (Feb 1) to give me as much time to be right. I'd be happy to eat my prediction though and split the difference between our predictions!

They seem to be doing this one in an odd manner. They had majority of the "raft" (thanks David, did a bit of research about that function) done for the tower portion, but were still digging dirt out where the parking lot will be until a few days ago, and may still be going.

Edit: just walked past and the excavator is still in the hole which tells me there is a bit more to dig up.

Focusing on the tower side of the project as that is the critical path to completion. The podium can play catch-up later.

Wouldn't even be surprised if this one overtakes Cobalt.

Second crane is fully up. Too bad it's like a week after Platinum's came down since the crane count hasn't changed as a result.

Ritsman, this is going to be an amazing vantage point from which to get progress shots over the course of this project! Once it rises above the King St storefronts, you'll have to collect monthly photos in a powerpoint or something and share that when the project is done.
