I disagree. We can move or or not, and either way it’s fine. Thought it’s not all as subjective as you’re suggesting.

If a claim is made that Cleveland and Boston are more similar than Boston and Baltimore are… we’ll, 🞵🞵🞵🞵, you got a discussion, and you’d better back it up beyond impressions, opinions, etc.

I think this is the point where intelligent people can actually get into the meat of things and learn something from each other, rather than “agreeing to disagree”.

I’ve been very fortunate have lived in a bunch of great cities and continue to spend time in many cities due to my career. So I don’t come at it from a passing-knowledge angle.

That exception is more apt when a contingent of the “most intelligent people” have never resided in any other city / region than which they were born and raised.

I never said Cleveland and Boston are more alike. Where are you getting this from?

I clearly said that Boston is the most different than the other three cities in the discussion and I gave my perspective of why.

Culturally to an extent because of regional influences. Aesthetically, the two cities look strikingly similar. Take a walk from downtown Baltimore to Federal Hill and from downtown Boston to Bunker Hill, and then tell me how different the cities are

Cleveland is a Yankee extension. Cleveland has later interpretations of Massachusetts suburban vernacular. That’s about it.
