Very strong Lib showing in Toronto / GTHA so far. My riding (Parkdale - High Park) is neck and neck Lib/NDP - I predicted a dipper win here but we will see.

Jesus, what a pointless election. Record deficit and we just needlessly added $600M to it. Instead of waiting until 2023 when we could've, in all likelihood, had an election focused on more prevalent non-pandemic issues, we basically just had a referendum on JT's handling of covid. Wonderful.

Saskatoon West currently has the NDP candidate leading. The rest of the province, yeah, pretty solidly blue.

Ontario results are astounding libs 37 cpc 36 yet Tories still only win 37 Ontario seats. And nationally conservatives winning the national popular vote again

The CPC would be wise to live in reality and recognize that it will take years of moderate platforms and stances to counter the decades of social conservative stigma. Their outright denial of Climate Change and years of obstruction have not gone unnoticed (or unpunished). The Canadian electorate isn’t going to buy a turn to the centre just as an election nears. Do the work outside of campaign season and we’ll talk.

About the only big city voting widespread Conservative is Calgary. Urban voters greatly mistrust the Conservative party. Urban versus rural/semi-rural is the biggest divide across the country.
