I was listening to some interesting commentary on CBC radio. The estimated 20% of Canadians who feel alienated from politics & the system and who don't normally vote, may decide to help the PPC, not the Conservatives, just as they did for Trump who successfully tapped into it. The effect of the PPC vote splitting and the Green Party collapse on this election may be the determining factors on the outcome. Obviously, as others have said, the Green collapse will help the Libs, but the PPC vote will hurt the Conservatives; this may continue to help the Libs in Ontario, and perhaps in the West.
ALL of our cities have gone Liberal now, except for Fredericton and Miramichi. (And technically half of Sydney hasn't been called yet). And even Freddy and Miramichi are in ridings that are quite close and not called yet. It's probably not much to really make note of, but it is a bit curious. Even if Freddy and Miramichi go blue, they're close enough that they're basically grey.
Looks like PPC supporters just elected another Liberal government. Only 5 point gap in Ontario between lib and cpc but Liberals winning Ontario seats 61 to 28
