I don’t blame them the City has basically developed this area to be prime real estate for them. That intersection probably has the highest quantity of seperated bike paths, 10 minute walk from No Frills, lots of schools nearby, barely any crime, and right next to the Transitway. Basically all forms of transportation are easily viable here.
If I was moving this area would probably be at the top of my list and will be a cash cow for the owners compared to the decaying hotels occupying the space. Especially considering that both buildings appear to have commercial in the first floor.
Now if only they can get rid of that fountain tire then that intersection is essentially complete.
