Actually in my area, I see quite a number of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. There's a hydrogen fuel cell pump near where I live in South Pasadena:

Here's a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, a previous generation Toyota Mirai, a picture I took in my area in June 2021:

It'd be great if they became more common; it doesn't take long to refuel a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, it's just like gassing up an ICE car. If you've ever driven behind a Toyota Mirai, though, they sometimes spray water from their tailpipe. It's pissed me off driving behind one after I just had my car washed, and then I get sprayed with water from one. It's like, why don't they design them so that the water exhaust pipe doesn't spray from the back of the vehicle? Why doesn't the drain pipe let out the water from the bottom center of the car instead?

Here's a map of hydrogen fuel stations in California:

This morning while waiting for my car to get an oil/filter change and tire rotation, I checked out a used 2014 Bentley Flying Spur. Photos taken Saturday, 8.21.2021.

Nicest car you’ve ever sat in?

What’d you think? Would it be worth it if you had the money?

Definitely the fanciest marque I've ever sat in. Don't know what it feels like to drive it of course, but nah, I don't think it'd be worth the money. It's definitely not me, I'd actually be uncomfortable (maybe even embarrassed) driving it around.

We're in Ann Arbor right now. And I'm finding a prevalence of "maize-colored" vehicles. Here's two of the nicer ones -

Also some blue, to balance out the maize -

That Subaru really checks off every cliche. Was it parked in front of an organic grocery store by chance?

Saw this electric Mustang in my neighborhood yesterday. I've been seeing these here and there.

And a few days before that, I saw this vintage Jaguar in my town.

Not a photo of a car per se, but I took this picture of my fuel economy meter last Thursday on a road trip to northern California I recently took. This was the highest mpg ever I've ever seen on my car, and a minute after I took this picture, it jumped up to 83.1 mpg or something like that. I took this picture while driving down the Grapevine (if anyone is unfamiliar with "the Grapevine," it's that incline of I-5 going down from the summit of the Tejon Pass in southern California). I guess you get a lot of mpgs with your foot off the gas pedal while doing 80 mph down that incline for several minutes. I was a bit surprised.

I hope good colors can come back, cars of the fifties were so much fun, and still are, color and color combinations used to be as important as anything else in appearance. Now, every manufacturer seems to have had the the Henry Ford idea for awhile, but occasionally I see distinctive colors that stand out. Resale value loss is a concern with poorly chosen colors.

You bet! Like them a lot.

I have only run RE01Rs, RE011s and RE71Rs on the S2k.

Noice! I'm loving them so far. Super sticky. I feel like I can hear the road sticking to the tyres haha. I'm coming from Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Hopefully I can take it to the track or autoX soon so I can really test it out at the limits. I have some things I need to sort out with the suspension first though.

MPSS are good but expensive and die quickly.

When I used to track day (3-4x), time attack (5-10x) and Auto-X (3-7x) a lot... I would often get two full seasons from a set... yup, two seasons.

On hot days folks would have to pit on track days due to greasy tires whereas the Bridgestones kept going.
