I think the demand will be there, but I think our government is too cautious and we won't really see these types of venues open for several years. Call me pessimistic, but that's what we're seeing.

Governments have been way too optimistic, opening as soon as think they can get away with it and not locking down until medical professionals are on their knees begging them that hospitals are on the verge of collapse.

Governments were too optimistic when they shouldn't have been (no vaccines) and too pessimistic when they shouldn't be (currently since most people are vaccinated)

31.1% of the population being fully vaccinated is not ‘most people’. Sure, a small majority have had one shot, but that’s also with vaccines that have been shown to have limited effectiveness at the one dose stage against the Delta Variant that’s surging across the world.

Lol how come every country/state that has vaccinated the same amount of people (or less) and lifted all restrictions are still maintaining incredibly low numbers?

Low income countries: a) often have corrupt governments; b) are often hot and humid places where respiratory viruses spread more slowly; c) generally have had lower case loads due to that and less travel; d) usually have lower safety standards than we do.

The UK has significantly higher full vaccination rates than us, tried reopening nightclubs, and one that was supposed to be screening all patrons still saw over 100 people get infected with Covid from that one club.

This one has been moving more slowly than I was expecting. I assume the podium section will take the longest, and the towers should move quite quickly though.

We were visiting Hamilton in 2018 and there was nothing but a huge pit where these towers would stand, we were in the city this pastwkend and were surprised how little had been constructed, also surprised to learn they are both rental properties as opposed to the original sales listing of one rental tower,one condo tower. Anyone know why the progress is so slow?

Most likely the issue with all downtown high rises.... the underground rivers and difficulty working with them
