Drone video from yesterday. Credit: Maritime Pilot Silt continues building up on both sides of the former gate structure. The river is really carving out a new course! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puluw0SY_s0

Further to the above, here are the site plans and a render of the proposal for Pine Glen Road, in Findlay Park.

The recommendation by Riverview Town Planning to the Riverview PAC is that this proposal be approved.

These buildings look a lot like the ones on Whitepine Rd. I wonder if these are being built by the same developer?

It’s great that they are seeing more development, but so tired of these, they are everywhere in Riverview. I’ve seen some of the projects this developer has done one of which they are working on in Dieppe and they could have done something much nicer.

The development is needed, I just feel like complaining today

I think it was about 5 years ago that Celtic Knot Brewing set up their facility in Riverview which greatly increased their capacity. I see today that they are selling their building. Not sure why. Are they moving on to something bigger and better, or were they just not successful.

Still no crane up at The Tides. I guess they have work they can do for now, and then they'll bring the crane in later when they need it.

I was thinking that, it appears they are alternating crews between their two Riverview projects.

Must be going behind the Scotiabank branch. Hence the more than 1 building on the same lot.

The tax office next to Riverview Tire on the corner of Pine Glen and Coverdale is getting an extensive renovation. The are essentially rebuilding the building, adding a second storey. Work in the second floor has already begun.

There is a sign on the construction fence that says “expanding to serve your better” so I think it’s going to be a bigger office.

I wonder if it's got anything to do with the recent episode where someone dumped oil & chemicals into the sewer system. Apparently it caused the treatment plant a lot of trouble.
