If they were to go above ground, I wonder where they'd put it. At first glance, University Blvd seems likely, but it goes through a golf course which doesn't seem ideal. Chancellor Blvd has a bunch of expensive houses along it, so that's a no-go. Maybe it could go underground along Chancellor until Drummond Blvd, and become elevated after that.

I wonder the cost differences between above ground and (open) trenched along University Blvd.

Chancellor's a no-go; not unless it can hit Lelem and the bus terminal too. Best I can think of is either expropriating a couple of holes, or riding the north boundary to College Highroad and Wesbrook Mall.

As for an alignment, I be would stunned if at least one station wasn't included on the Jericho Lands. It's more about where it / they would be, rather than if there will be one.

Where can they put Jericho Station other than Broadway? Or is the dilemma between two stations on Sasamat and Crown Crescent, or one big one on Trimble?

IIRC the plan is to curve north to put a station on the Jericho lands; if I were to speculate, I'd suggest somewhere around Crown or Camosun, on the southern edge of the project. From there, arc south to return to 10th.

Though it makes sense, I don't recall seeing any plan from Translink that shows a future station at the Jericho Lands.

That neighbourhood doesn't even want row-houses. Imagine trying to put a Skytrain station there.

Well there is no exact planned routing with stations so it doesn't mean anything. All their material from this spring when they were surveying people seems to lean towards Jericho being included.

It's the City's one big chance to put a TOD village in Point Grey. I doubt they'll pass it up.

Though come to think of it, since TransLink's — off the NIMBYs either way, why not double down and start elevating it at Alma? It's a straight shot west down Broadway, along the golf course to College Highroad and then down Wesbrook Mall to 16th; should save about $70 million extra according to page 136.
