So, you would want Via to give up on it's cash cow? The only real way the Ontario government would take it on is if the federal government downloaded it to them. Now, HSR, if it were ever constructed would most likely be done between Montreal and Toronto to be able to receive federal funding. I don't see it being owned by the province. HSR for the C-E route would be a different story all together.
