^ Yeah, I don't remember that one at all. I always thought that area seemed underbuilt relative to its prime location.

Judging from the rendering, it's located behind another building already.

love the Mayfair one, close to downtown, the Forks, St.B, etc. I'll tell you lots of river bank campers are going to be upset!

Construction underway on new 40-bedroom Ronald McDonald House in Winnipeg

https://winnipeg.ctvnews.ca/construc...ipeg-1.5350470

The new Ronald McDonald house is now under construction at Juno & McDermot. If I recall, they finished levelling the site in spring or summer 2019.

That project out at Sturgeon and Portage has been battling with the COW for two years now over sewer and water....no end in sight so far.

Good news.

I was looking at the location in Google. Secret Headquarters of the Ancients is across the street. Maybe not so secret headquarters haha

Can't remember which thread it was posted in. But the sale of the 2 lots Labroco was talking about on Argyle and Sutherland are being sold to the Indigenous Education centre to expand their outdoor education services. Sold at fair market value it says. Seems alright to me. But ya they skipped the surplus land process, which is being approved through Council.

The Lexington Park thing on Gateway maybe gaining some traction finally. 3 towers proposed with an event centre, etc

New apartment on McPhillips

A bunch of stuff going on in the EPC meeting today.

NEWPCC could be delayed as there isn't a funding agreement in place.

Great project. 5 storey podium. Commercial ground floor. Restaurant on the corner. 3 storey townhouses on Furby. 20 stories. 250 feet. Brick podium. I didn’t realize P3 is a Winnipeg company. Doing great things. They seem to use a different architect for every project. This is Cibinel.

They are a big idea, tight budget type of developer. Constant changes and value engineering throughout the design process. Frustrating for consultants to put it mildly.

How many large projects have they actually seen thru to completion at this point?

...to completion?

They are doing:

The Zu - former Ozborne Village Inn site
Halo - 3021 Pembina - the big 2 tower project on south Pembina
The District Offices - a large 130k sq ft, 4 storey office building in Waverly West

That’s a lot of ambitious irons in the fire at once.

Key word completion.

Although it's good to see Halo under construction at least.

I am cautiously optimistic regarding this new Portage Ave. proposal they have - but would not be surprised at all if it stumbles and stalls along the way for the next 5 years or so.

p3 Finished Jobs

P3 were the developers of "The Spot at East Village" at 221 Stradbrook Avenue

https://privatepensionpartners.com/p...-ave-winnipeg/

They seem relatively well organized and well financed. Good news to have a big developer like this in Winnipeg pushing all these new projects through.

What's with all this garbage?.. you'd never think Canada is a first world country with the crap we keep getting. This building is trash. I'm sick of seeing Canadian cities with low standards when it comes to design. This looks straight out of Russia.
