Central Park works because it’s surrounded by people... one of the most densely populated areas in Canada you say... yet it cannot support the mall, portage place, DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET, Or the hudsons bay company that it’s connected too. So obviously the problem with portage place and the bay wasn’t lack of people living in the area. How many people live within walking distance of polo park?? Kildonan place? Or st. Vital??? They’re built in the suburbs and are constantly packed.
