Totally underrated area for manufacturing development.
but my point was that there are so many abandoned manufacturing buildings throughout the city, why build new ones? and it would rid the city once and for all of the blight of many of these dangerous eyesores. it could also revitalize some seriously depressed neighborhoods.
there is plenty of land in NE philly, as you say, but I don't know why it would be particularly suited for manufacturing, as opposed to other types of development.
