Any updated photos of the Cooperators new head office on Albert Street, the Victoria Avenue Beautification project downtown and if the new Sobey’s Liquor has started demo/construction?

For all council's jibber jabber about it being jobs for North Central and for the neighbourhood, it is clearly another vehicle destination and not easy to access for pedestrians.

Sobeys Liquor hasn't started demo or construction yet. Was expecting it to start as soon as it got approval

Awful location, going to contribute a lot of traffic to one of the only exits on the grounds. People at City Hall didn't want it going through but Mr. Mayor had something to say about that

Other than cars leaving Rider Games, Pats Games and the Exhibition, when is leaving that side of Evraz Place THAT busy? I tend to find that intersection is not busy at all from my memory other than North & South Traffic.

Uhh that's the point? Count all Rider games, Pats Games, Mosaic, Agribition, the Ex, and any other events. Would account for roughly 20% of the year. Why would you knowingly construct something that will cause traffic problems for even 20% of the year?

On a more serious note, I would argue that a job at McDonald's is much better than no job at all. Location has some challenges, but on non-game days, it shouldn't screw up traffic much. Game days - traffic is already bad - hopefully the entrance from the parking/driving lanes to the McDonald's lot is situated in such a way that it won't overly impede traffic. Not counting on it, though.

Council was talking about how this would be so good for the neigbourhood. I'm pretty much just disagreeing with them. There is no good way to add sidewalk there. A bigger priority for the city should be a bike path down Sask Drive to the Evraz grounds.
