Comprehensive shots, thanks!
I didn't realize the 1335 Howe hoardings straddle the off-ramp.

Podium Triangles

Does anybody have images of the progress being made on the triangular podium buildings? Curious to see what they look like on a nice summer day!

Here's the podium under the tower looking south and then north and then the view from Beach of the other two buildings on either side of the Granville Bridge.

Here's the building between the Granville Bridge and the Howe Street ramp starting on Pacific and then to the west and then south.

Here's the building between the Granville Bridge and the Seymour ramp as seen from near Beach and then up to Pacific.

Those last two show the curb cut for the new intersection.

I second that. Thanks McMinsen!! Truly amazing photos. Do we have a name for those little ones yet?

They seem to have 2 sides, sharp side under the bridge and the flat side on the street (with trees). I think the best shot comes from the corner of Pacific and Howe. WBU?

Also excited to see how the ipe clad courtyard and greenroof turn out

Nice urban space. I'm sure set directors in film and television are eyeing this location.

I don't know what the addresses are supposed to be but it was going to be the University Canada West campus starting this year. Not sure how those plans are going now with the super slow completion and the ongoing pandemic.

There are so many playful angles with these buildings. In some ways they differ and other ways are similar. I'm beyond tired waiting for them to be completed so I can access all the possible angles for interesting shots.

On both of the triangle buildings the facades facing the Granville Bridge slope away from the bridge, as if in deference to it.The facades facing the ramps (Seymour and Howe) are straight up and down.

Maybe for noise reflection, but maybe the architect didn't realize that the ramps are more heavily traveled than the main bridge.

Yes, that angle from Pacific and Howe is my favourite. It's the most dramatic. The first pic below is from near there, in the alley behind the Grosvenor Pacific construction site. It's been hard to get in there lately and that particular view might not be there much longer as the small building (community amenity building for Grosvenor Pacific) goes up.

The view from the opposite side (second pic below) is also dramatic.

I caught this angle of the green roof on the triangular building between the Howe Street ramp and the Granville Bridge. Last pic is a similar angle from about a year ago.
