Big time! Would have 4 towers (JW Marriott, Stantec, Regency BMO and Great Gulf) with heights considerably over the rest of the skyline.

a plaque perhaps, no more plagues please.

other than that, we agree on this one. we deserve to see this building well designed and well executed in its own right, not hobbled or compromised by faux components. the hilton and the gibson block already demonstrate that new and old can complement each other without distracting from each other.

this is different from the kelly-ramsey building as it’s “close quarters” means you are forced to experience the street view and the tower views from two different perspectives so they both work. this one is completely free standing and isolated and visible from top to bottom on all four sides. it deserves to be cohesive from top to bottom.

Those are some awesome historic shots of our city. Crazy how many large mansions used to line 100 Avenue the blocks just off it. Now, boring government offices replaced most of them...

It is hard to believe the demolition of the Tegler was allowed to happen. Was there not any elected official that saw the beauty in that old, grand building??
