I'm still not understanding how my comment was so shocking to people. That view of Ottawa looked brutal, no question. And some people on this forum deserve to be insulted, so I insulted them. Just as many of you regularly insult me for little or no reason. Was not targeting the entire forum.
My shock was genuine, because how can people be so offended by a fairly innocuous comment about a really bad angle of a city everyone here knows is otherwise beautiful. No city is beyond criticism, and Calgary is wrongfully insulted regularly here, and rightly insulted often as well (disclaimer: this criticism of a small part of the Ottawa skyline was rightful). That's where the shock and hilarity came from on my end. I said nothing at all about water, btw. Many of you are reading wayyyy too much into it. Like, wayyyyyyyyy. Take a fuckin pill like I do, I highly recommend it. It might even help with personal growth!
