As for terrain, IMO it’s alright for the most part between Peterborough and Madoc (except around Mamora and Lakes) but from Madoc to Tay I agree it’s pretty rugged.

Say that HFR really does happen and go down this alignment...
If the protestors will take the time to drive up and protest there, ..., I guess I will admire them for their “dedication”...
There are at least 5 or 6 reserves in the vicinity of that corridor.
