Whole food only across street even though realistically takes a lot longer to cross Willingdon, not only that unless you bring your car, very difficult to carry a week's grocery on foot. What about when it is rainy and dark like Vancouver in the last month, try crossing Willingdon with a load of grocery. If you are hungry go pig out on CHINESE bakery with its saturated fat and loads of carbs. You do not have the option to buy a balanced diet grocery on site, people like you probably don't know what balanced diet is because you can eat CHINESE bakery.

No, that's not my logic at all.
You need to re-read my comment and understand it correctly this time and try to refrain putting words in my mouth that I did not say at all nor imply.
At no point do I imply that Chinese food (or baked products) are not "real" food, and any aspersions as to the "unhealthiness" or lack of nutritional value of Chinese food are yours and yours alone.
There's plenty of unhealthy food to be found in Western food stores - even in that Whole Foods across the street - so where this notion that there's only unhealthy food to be found ONLY in Chinese bakeries is bewildering to me.
But those are your paranoias and prejudgments and yours alone.
(or conversely, the idea that people don't likewise go to the Save-Ons, or the Whole Foods and the whatnots to get "unhealthy" snacks and junk food)
As to what I was ACTUALLY saying (as opposed to what's in your head or what you think I was saying), his desire was for a(nother) Chinese Bakery as one of the new retail units in the Mall (apparently there's one in the old Mall) as opposed to a Grocery/Food store of which there's several already in the near vicinity - even if not within your actual complex
Clearly crossing the street or driving barely a couple of minutes or blocks is far too great an imposition on your delicate sensibilities, and a burden far too heavy for you to bear, so much so that you MUST have a grocery store right within your very building and at your doorstep if possible, to enable you to virtually roll out of bed in your pyjamas and do all your shopping without ever setting foot outside.
As they say, First World problems.
Perhaps something for you to consider the next time you pick a place to live in rather than cause a big stink about it to people who can't do anything about it.
Or maybe just pay attention to the marketing material next time and don't forget that they often reserve the right to change their decisions as to which retailers and anchor tenants they eventually end up having in their buildings (from which you're also free to move out of anytime, if you want, I would imagine).
Oh, and by the by, "
People like me" don't typically stress out too much about "balanced diets" (which I do have),....probably because in addition to (trying to) live a balanced life, I also try not to let things like the thought of WALKING to the store to pick up groceries (a.k.a what some would call "exercise") to cause me to fall apart and throw a conniption fit.
But then again what would "
people like me" know, am I right?
