They've also opened up most of the (newly) drywalled ceiling above the Sask Drive entrance (there's also a drain pipe protruding down below the ceiling line - it definitely wasn't there before they opened the ceiling up. And - as noted - they are doing quite a bit of work inside the former Sears space on the 1st floor.
The new Lush store at Cornwall Centre is disappointing. It is tiny, not but not only that, it is very plain and dull looking. It almost appears to me as if it is just a temporary store for the holiday season.

Every Lush store is tiny, though it does look distinctly temporary. I will say though that over lunch hour when I happen to walk by, it's packed.

It is definitely a pop up shop. They are hoping to stay and either renovate that location into a full Lush store with proper plumbing on the sales floor for a sink or to move to another spot in the new year. And that location is actually larger than some other LUSH stores.

I was assuming this to be the case. I wonder where they could end up moving to more permanently?
It will always be the Vag to me. I had my first true bar drink there when I was 15. I think it was a Rye. When we were little kids our parents would take us to Oscar's Club for special occasions.
It is nice to see the investment they made in the place.
As far as I know it is all office space mostly for SaskTel swing space as they renovate floor by floor in the Head Office Building.
Last I heard Shoppers wanted to move but did not want to pay for the cost of moving.

SaskPower is undergoing a lot of office consolidation over the next couple of years which is going to require renovations to several of their properties. Not just their HO, but also the Financial Building (2101 Scarth Street) and the research facility at the Saskatchewan Science Centre. I noticed last week that all of the windows on one of the floors (6th or 7th floor?) on the north side of the HO have been removed and are covered with plywood.
