They're open now, but I haven't taken any pictures.

I'll try to get some this weekend.

TransLink should rename the skytrain station to The Amazing Brentwood Station. Brentwood Town Centre is long gone.

If Shape's willing to pay for it, TransLink might be up to play ball. I can't imagine that it'd be cheap though to change it throughout the system.

It wasn't named after the mall though, the mall changed its name from Brentwood Mall to Brentwood Town Centre after, just like Lougheed Mall changed its name to Lougheed Town Centre.

Thanks for the photos.

Is that a lighting feature going up the tower or just the purple light from the fountain illuminating the undersides of the balconies?

It's the light from the fountain. The fountain at Park Avenue in Surrey has the same effect on the surrounding towers.

I hope not . I'm probably in the minority, but I hate the "amazing" in the name. "The Amazing Brentwood" sounds like the name of a magician or children's show.

Sporting Life opened on Thursday; it's the first retailer there.

It's been a long time coming. I remember visiting Brentwood Mall in the first half of 2016 and The Amazing Brentwood was already under construction. That was a long project.

Coquitlam Centre Unlimited actually only refers to the public consultation for the redevelopment of the property, they're not changing the name of the mall to that.

Does anyone know why the paneling on tower 3 are different colors (White and beige)?
Are they planning to keep it that way or is it temporary for construction purposes?
The duo colored panels were not in any of the renders or display models as advertised. Currently it looks quite jarring and dated.

*Below are pictures that I took for reference:

It's been like that since it went up. And yes, it is permanent. Originally it was all beige and now it's beige and white. The spine is a darker color.

In terms of color, none of the towers look like the renders or display models.
