I don't think Cactus will have a rooftop patio. I think itll have a patio area on the plaza level underneath the overhang, but I think the rooftop above the second floor will be outdoor mall space.

They anglicized (if in the UK) or made German the original Middle Eastern/Turkish origins of the word/cuisine, considering the large immigrant population from the said country/region in Europe that brought such food to the continent. Evolution. Hehe.

Is this on the outside ground level? I haven't noticed that in the underground portion but maybe I'm blind lol.

I think it's actually spelled دونر, so in English you can phoneticise it however you want.

I believe there is no underground attached to the CP owned portion of the mall

When you say "Metrotown", do you mean Metropolis the mall or do you mean Metrotown the area?

Because there's way more than that in Metrotown (the area, even in the immediate vicinity of the mall itself) - with some banks even having multiple branches and locations within blocks of each other.

They already have a section open at Nordstrom Pacific Centre. One of the managers there told me that they are planning on opening a stand alone store by the end of 2020 but couldn't say where at the time. Now we have confirmation.

Suitsupply stores are typically in higher-end malls (at least in the US). This is a good sign...as they probably know of other confirmed/possible retailers joining TAB.

Sorry, I'm old. Metropolis.

With all the businesses, shoppers, employees etc that Metropolis deals with, I'm surprised that I have to leave the mall to go to RBC.

I would imagine all the businesses would deal in cash that would have to be deposited nightly. It's weird that they are pretty much forced to use CIBC or BMO.

.. and Vancity isn't on that list.

Presumably the Steve Nash is a relocation of the Sports Club down the street.

There also seems to be mostly food and beverage tenants so far.

I would assume Vancity isn't on the list as it would be opening in 2019? just a thought.

So glad to see this take Shape.

It seems like a lifetime ago that it all started.
