By City of Rain:

In one of the middle pics, I see a Tower 3 northeast corner balcony railing with clear glass.

I assume this is an office podium? I can't recall all of the specifics of this project.

Also good on you for bringing it up with the building manager because that's usually who the cops talk to first.

Sometimes building managers say they'll take care of an issue, but the reality is that they're often in no better a situation to resolve it than are resident, and it wouldn't surprise me if they would be the ones to get the authorities involved if it gets out of hand.
This ended well. That day after speaking with the building manager the music stopped, so she got it done.

I haven't talked to her since, but when I brought it up she thought maybe they turned it on for testing the plaza/fountains and forgot to turn it off.

Does anyone know when Tower 2 completion date is going to be announced? I was initially told that it was going to be 4Q of 2019 but I just want to know if it is really going to happen in 2019..lol

Great to hear.

Sometimes all it takes is just enough voices raising the issue to get it dealt with (with some urgency).

But having said all that, have they let you guys know what the schedule of the music playing is going to be like? (like at what hours of the day will it come on and how late into the night will they be playing it? Weekends? etc).

Might be a good point in time to start clearing all that up.

I emailed last week asking for an estimated closing date, simply because I don't want to have to rush to get my mortgage done. Government minimum mandate is 8 business days notice the developer has to give to the purchaser to have their money together for closing.

Anyway, the response I got was pure BS:

Good Morning,

Happy Friday!!

The construction completion and receipt of occupancy permit is still anticipated to be between September 30, 2019 and December 31, 2019 for Tower TWO. However, you can expect to receive an update from us sometime this month.

Best regards,

Shirley

Seriously c'mon, they know damn well that's not gonna happen, just give me a more realistic estimate...

Thing is, in my email to them I even said myself I'm estimating March/April, but they still didn't bite and gave me the usual useless response.

Yeah. They've increased the promo to free first month's rent.

How can they expect people to rent the place without a move in date? They said they are waiting for the occupancy permit from the city, but have gotten their verbal agreement. This was two weeks ago aleady. Now, they are saying they are in the process of filing their final strata plan with the tittle holding office. Why didn't they sort this matter long time ago? I did my walk through in July and buildings been ready. Whoever is in charge has no idea what the f they're doing and it's infuriating.

It almost seems like they're reading this forum and reacting in real time to the complaints and gripes.

LOL!
