You must be pretty unhappy with Canadian weather then.
For me, anything above about +10 is pretty good and I don't mind some freezing temperatures or snow in the winter.
It's 15 here today and I'm debating when to stop wearing shorts. Probably November.
I went to the beach in March this year when it was maybe 17 and sunny. Not warm enough to swim comfortably but very nice on the sand and it has somewhat busy. My ideal hot summer day is about 25 degrees, and I would only want a few weeks of that per year.
Sometimes I wonder if some people make themselves less happy with the temperature by coddling themselves too much. Instead of just going for a walk in a t-shirt when it's 15 and sunny they get bundled up and don't adapt to the changing season. People from places like Hong Kong do this a lot in Vancouver.
