Calgary (particularly Chad) is a close second though.

Are we talking about the same place that can't handle any amount of snow and bundles up in giant winter coats, gloves, toques, scarves anytime the temperature hits 0.

4 degrees in Saskatoon this evening and we're expected to fall to -5 overnight, our first freeze of the season. We made it this far through September without a frost, it's kind of disappointing to see that fall apart so close to the end of the month.

Vancouver is definitely the worst, but only because it's most often in that circumstance.

Well said Metro! What exactly do she understand about climate? I am sure YOU know more than her. The fact she is "popular" only shows how brainwashed and fucked up the younger generation is.

20C and sunny! Not a bad day.

Low of 9C this morning. Still 16C at midnight so it's going to be another sleep with open windows.

The warmspot was Point Pelee, ON at 25.4C.

BTW-Windsor couldn't make to October and fell below 10C for the first time since June 14. A stretch of 103 consecutive days.

BTW2: Calgary and Edmonton are below zero right, I will update the freeze list once the official low is out.

Quite the contrast this morning. There was nothing happening by my house in NW Calgary, but as I drove to work at the airport and it was coming down HARD.

Also glad people are already getting in the winter driving habits of cutting people off when there's little visibility without the use of their blinkers.

Southern Alberta's weather seems kinda wonky. Edmonton's forecast isn't as bad, yet it is further north.

Proximity to the mountains seems like both a gift and curse when it comes to the weather in that area.

Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Prince George, Regina, and Winnipeg all froze. Saskatoon possibly did as well, however will need to wait for the official low to be updated (tomorrow).

Quebec and Sheerbrooke likely on the short-term watch list.

20C and showers today in Moncton.

Despite our precocious addition to the freeze list the previous week, our fall weather since has been generally quite delightful.

Nice pics SignalHill. I feel like you should be chirping all those people on the Prairies who make fun of your late start to spring! Maybe the pics are your passive aggressive approach?

Oh there's no justification for any response other than complete agreement that our spring is shit. We really shouldn't even use the word spring. We have winter until summer is strong enough to burn through.

So Signal was not lying, trees really start changing a little later in St.John's hehe.

According to this site, which is regularly updated, we are starting to see colours in pretty much all of Ontario. Some areas have not been updated and are most likely inaccurate by now (Eastern Ontario, Prince Edward County).

Strangely enough the only parks that are allegedly 100% green are on Lake Huron. Weathly Park in Extreme Southern Ontario is marked as 100% green, but the description says that a little bit of yellow and red is now visible. Of course things are different in urban areas.
