Once the grid is painted, that's probably true,
but the spandrels in the grid (or elsewhere on the south side) could have been darker, like they are on the west side of the building.
But maybe they'll be less visible when the window blinds are installed.

Yeah, just revisited the renders and there will be spandrel stripes up the tower of varying width.
Hopefully they will be reflective enough not to stand out so the horizontal banding on that side will dominate.
